An ACC representative will review your request. The system will automatically generate a password for you, but an ACC staff member must authorize your password first before it can be used to access the protected portions of the website. Our goal is to send you an authorized password within five business days of receiving your request for access to view the profiles of the waiting children and youth.
This site is available to all Canadians in all provinces/territories. As long as you are at least 18 years of age, a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident, and you agree with our Terms and Conditions for the use of this site, you will receive a password.
At the end of this form, you will have the option to proceed to complete a family information form and a family profile. Only social workers and staff at child welfare agencies who have registered with us will be able to view the family profiles. If a social worker thinks a family (or an individual) is a prospective match for one of the children/youth on their caseloads, the ACC will send them that family's family information form. The forms are not otherwise available for anyone else to view.
Once you have received your authorized password and looked at the profiles of children and youth on the Canada's Waiting Children site, you may wish to make a formal "Expression of Interest" in a child or youth. To do so, you must have created and uploaded a family profile, and registered to express interest.
